(13%), organic cotton (5%), and others (26%) - Outsole: Amazonian rubber (50%), mineral silica (26%), synthetic rubber (5%), and others (19%) - Lining: Recycled polyester (100%) - Laces: Recycled polyester (100%) - Made in Brazil Sourced from southern Brazil and Uruguay, the bovine leather is tanned locally in workshops selected for their high environmental standards. No harmful components to health or the environment are used. The dyes comply with current regulations and are applied with attention to water consumption during the tanning process. Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers using Brazilian and Peruvian organic cotton for canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for soles, and innovative materials made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled polyester.
