The dye is extracted from cherry blossoms by boiling them, and the thread is dyed a light pink before being used for the weft. The warp threads are rope-dyed in a combination of natural and synthetic indigo, resulting in a yarn with the blue tint of natural indigo that fades like regular denim. These yarns are also blended with the brand's homegrown organic cotton, resulting in fantastic texture and good moisture absorption.
